Chinese Golden Age Club of Mississauga 2022 AGM Minutes

Proceedings:
 1. Official welcoming and start of the AGM by the President
 2. Approval of the Minutes from the previous

AGM by a motion.
o Presentation of annual report from President.
o Presentation of financial report from the Treasurer.
o Adjournment by President.

1. Financial Report:
Treasurer Patty Lo delivered financial report to members. It was moved by Patty Lo and seconded by Harry Jung to accept the report. 

2. Constitution Revision:
There is no revision in this AGM.

3. Report on Events:
 CGAC has resumed the following activities after the re-opening of community centers:
 o Monday morning Tai Chi at Huron Park,
 o Monday (whole day) of advanced Tai Chi and Beginners Tai Chi at Churchill Meadows older adult center.
 o Monday morning choir at Creditvale Mills.
 o Wednesday Afternoon Dance at Erin Meadows CC,
 o Thursday Morning Tai Chi at Huron Park,
 o Thursday Morning Table Tennis at Creditvale Mills
 o Thursday Afternoon Line Dance at Creditvale Mills
 o Thursday afternoon Dance at Erin Meadows CC,
 o Thursday afternoon tai Chi at Huron Park CC,
 o Friday morning chair exercise at Creditvale Mills,
 o Sunday Afternoon general activities (including Table Tennis) at Creditvale Mill
 We sincerely thank the City of Mississauga provided meeting places at Huron Park CC, Churchill Meadows OAC, Creditvale Mills and Erin Meadows CC.
 Monthly Birthday Party, art class, English class and Tea room meetings are suspended.
 September 24, Tai Chi Group and KNX Dance Group participated in the Community Crime Awareness Day organized by MCBA (Mississauga Chinese Business Association) hold in the Celebration Square.

4. Future Direction
 Health Living Project to introduce simplified Tai Chi to senior homes.
 A study to help seniors to “manage their life style change” has been initiated.

5. Election – No election in this meeting.

CGAC Announcement

April 23, 2023

1. 今年五月七日星期日下午一時開始，在南山會的大本營，即：Creditvale Mill Hub 的樓下，我們慶祝母親節‧特別申請到當天中午十二點就開大門，如往常一樣，除有糕點美食外，也有歌唱舞蹈，我們不以表演為主，而是以同樂為主‧凡參加者，希望各組統籌略帶些許點 心，共享同樂‧這種聚會是我們新舊會友互相交流，連絡感情的時刻‧會中亦會向大家報 告各組進展的情況等等，也希望大家多提意見，特別歡迎每組的會友熱心參與‧

2. 南山會 2023 年的會費， 如往常一樣，每人 30 元，夫妻則共 50 元‧今年因為新加入的會 員很多，各組活動的地點又都分散，希望各會員的會費能先交給各組的負責人，即組長， 再由組長一併交給財務組簽收及秘書組備案。收到會費後，會長會盡快印好會員証發還‧ 一旦有了會員証，會員就可依照各人的興趣參加不同的活動‧

3. 凡是新會員要加入本會，則須先填寫一張 2023 年入會登記表‧ 除了會員編號不須填寫外, 其它各項都要填寫清楚:

A. 姓名方面希望中英文都能寫上，因發現有些會員英文姓名相同，難以分辨.
B. 活動組別及有 Email 地址的也請寫上，方便連絡.
C. 個人的姓名，生日，電話號碼及地址都要填寫得真實而清楚，這些資料都要上報到市政府，以便申請南山會會員的活動地方與福利的‧請大家放心，所有個人資料皆不輕易外洩，屬於 Confidential.
D. 緊急聯絡人及電話，希望都能寫清楚. 老人外出，容易發生意外，請不要忽略.
E. 登記表上有一項《意外及免除責任同意申明》，請認真閱讀清楚後，簽上您的大名.

新會友可將會費及登記表交給各組組長，可能要在兩週後才會拿到會員証.
